This is really cool to read all FF X and the VII series are my ultimate favorites and I always loved both storylines
To now discover that there both related it absolutely awesome!

I always felt, and theorised in my head aswell, that this could be the same world, but always put it off to my overactive imigination (as my head usually goes 'If I wrote a storyline I would try to get such connections')
But to find out now that is actually fact I'm loving it!

u guys are completly wrong about this to a point to where its absurdly offensive to anyone to claims to be even remotely a FF fan.

everyone knows to no FF in the main numbered series it related to one another in ANY way, IE: VII has nothin to do with III, II has nothin to do with VIII, IX has nothin to do with I, IV has nothin to do with XII etc etc etc etc etc etc.

u guys to just try to create a bridge of 2 FF games that doesnt exist nor should it exist. the things you guys are metioning are just complete coensidences, this is absolutely abserd to hear things like this.

If you ppl where in front of a group of huge FF fans and tried to say that the FFs are connected you would look like complete fools. STOP trying to say there connected because they arent, thats just the bottom like, take from some1 whos beat FFI -XII and eagerly awaiting XIII

Not only has it been confirmed that the DEVELOPERS created a link between the two games (FFVII and FFX) but it was completely logical to believe so considering the evidence at hand.

Try reading the entire thread next time, cupcake. And take it from someone who's been playing RPGs since 1983, including the entire Final Fantasy series: It's completely "abserd" and "completly" "absurdly offensive" to read the kind of horseshit you just posted, especially your line about being "in front of a group of huge FF fans" and looking stupid. I'd say you're in front of a huge group of FF fans right now. Guess who looks like a fool? Psst...it's you.

Oh and even if there was no link and the guy who made this thread was completely wrong, it's still not incorrect, wrong, or bad to speculate. The thread creator never said "this is how it is and that's that!" like you are doing. He came in with a theory and he asked for opinions. Grow up.

They are connected. It's a fact. Your opinion is meaningless when the writers of both games came out and said "hi, these games are linked."

If it is in the Ultimania books, the games creator's said that its true. Are you gonna call them fools too?
