So what all did everyone get?
I've got a small haul so far. $175, a $25 Walmart gift card, and a $150 gift certificate to Musician's Friend. I'm using the Gift Certificate and $100 of the other money to get Sound Forge and a couple of mics, a Shure SM57, and an Audio Technica AT2020. If anyone out there is into audio, perhaps there might be someone on this site who just understood me, XD.
As for the Walmart card and the rest of the money, I'll probably try to get a game and put what's left of it away to save up for moving or getting more audio stuff. I was gonna save all of the money for moving, but there really isn't enough, and with my getting a raise and soon a second job, I'll be able to save quickly enough. So I might as well get some equipment. I can hardly get a job in audio later on if my skills are rusty.
I've still got a few more things though. The people i rent from are throwing a little get together tomorrow, cause it worked better with everyone's work schedules, and there's some stuff I got from them. So Christmas goes on for yet another day for me, XD.
