The second silhouette vanished, as did the first. The sun was coming up around now, and the two wolves were deprived of much needed sleep. They found a large oak tree that provided adequate shade, and they took an hour of rest.

The sun woke Ultima up a few minutes early of their designated hour. It had found a gap between the branches of the tree and hit his eyelid. Before humanizing himself, he tried to put on his clothes while still a wolf. This was a difficult task, as the clothes did not fit his wolven body. By the time he finished, Axela was up and ready for breakfast. Ultima remembered that Lyai was not more than a half a mile away. So the two walked the distance in a few minutes.

Lyai was not really a village, more of a town or city. And a very large one at that. Everyone and everything was accepted there, because there are many species of creatures tat make up the town. It was a paradise for anyone who lived there. There were taverns, eateries, hotels, and four parks. Plus countless other luxuries that are both very similar and very different.

Ultima and Axela first went to a somewhat middle class grill (there was nothing below middle class in Lyai). It was called the Greenfyre Grill. The interior was superb. It seemed like a 7 star restaurant (In Lyai, the restaurant grading system goes up to 10, and 1 star is equivalent to 2 stars in the 5 star system), yet it was only a 4 star grill.

Ultima ordered a grilled chicken plate and he ordered Axela a large steak, medium-rare. However, it was the restaurants policy to serve warm coffee bread before any entree, any they both loved it. The chicken that Ultima ordered was marinated in a secret sauce that gave it a slight garlic taste, and had lemon juice squeezed over it to reduce that taste. It came with any sauce of his choice, and he chose steak sauce. Ultima loved good grilled chicken with steak sauce.

Axela's meal came with complimentary dessert afterwards, but Axela was too full to scarf it down, so Ultima took it instead. The bill was quite high, but that is only because of the high quality of the restaurant. Plus, $43.50 wasn't so bad for a very filling meal.

Now it was time to continue looking for the Ruins of the Ancient Lyai people that lived here thousands of years ago.

Haven walked through Lyai. He was looking for some outlaw or another. He had killed a mugger earlier today. He still wanted to kill another one. But, he picked up a book from a library about ruins. Now, he wanted to raid them for gold or tresures.

Ultima and Axela came to the ruins only to find that someone had already entered. The tracks were not unfaded and according to Axela, the scent was very strong. Not more than a half an hour old. She did not recognize the scent, though. The two ventured inside with caution. Axela led Ultima as a seeing eye dog would lead a blind one. It was dark, very little light, but enough to see where he was going, and Ultima's human nose could only smell Axela's strong scent. She hadn't had a bath for a week and two days. Her next one was due tomorrow. They continued deep into the cavernous ruins.

deep inside the ruins.....draco was lost in the twisting paths of the anchiet ruins. he eventually came across a room that had no light at all except for the light coming in from the ceiling. draco saw that the light bath a sword stuck in stone, and a character in a dark robe...

bic: draco steped toward the dark character, and he turned around. draco steped back but the man was already drawing his sword. draco drew his sword quickly and clash blades, throwing sparks to the air. draco side steped and nearly got cut. he then jump over the man and clashed swords again.....................

Axela began to hear a very faint sound. It was to light for Ultima to hear. Axela gained speed, heading for the sound.

draco clashed swords again then decided this was not worth the trouble and jumped again towards the exit of the room, but suddenly he realized there was no exit...

Ultima and Axela arrived at a dead end, or at least it seemed so. There was a dark wall... just standing there. The sound was on the other side of it. Ultima reached out to fell the wall, but it was just an illusion. He walked through the illusion. On the other side, he saw Draco fighting someone... He wanted to help, but something held him back.

draco clash swords again and for the last time cause he then broke the clash and slashed the guy in two. suddenly realizing that somebody else was in the room draco turned around and pointed his sword to the guy. realizing it was he friend ultima he lowered his sword...
