zane stops and pauses for a moment. (Did he just start wondering how to revive a dark goddess?...,i don't know if i can trust this guy.) reading the nearby wall zane suddenly collapses. words pass into his mind.
(dark flames of the underworld, gather unto my resting place and thus i shall be reborn...)
he gets up and brushes himself off thinking nothing of it but can't help wondering what it meant.

Ultima was not so sure about Dalxin's interpretation. When he first deciphered the words, he had a feeling it meant a goddess of dark flame, who might have had her power taken away. Then she would try to resurrect it. This, in the Lyan language might have made sense, or maybe Ultima had mistranslated a word. But as for now, Ultima was open to both ideas. He hadn't noticed what was going on around him, he was simply staring at the wall, as if trying to contemplate something.

Dalxin was still trying to decipher the words, but was now having difficulty with some of the more obscure ones.

Does that say..........One of Twilight..........sacrifice..... Ugh.. I cannot read any more. The text is too old for me. Any one of you want to try??

He looked questioningly at the trio

Zane walks up to the wall as if in a trance and begins reading the wall.
"bring forth the one of twilight who's sacrifice shall open the way to the eternal flame"

Zane opens his eyes and looks at xaldin, "that good enough for you?"

Ultima looked at Zane. Two things came to his mind:

One: Zane was a Lyan
- this estimate only had the evidence of him reading the language

Two: Zane was a Cosmopolyglot
- this would mean he could read or speak any language with no difficulty
-this was supported by the absence of all Lyans for centuries
- he read the language as if in trance

His evidence pointed to Zane being a Cosmopolyglot. He stood there looking at Zane.

Dalxin looked surprised, but hid it well

Its a pity I don't know any people with Twilight..........That is an ancient power indeed. There might not be any one left with that kind of power....

He was now getting frustrated. All this way, to be stopped by some ancient text on a wall.

i sat by a wall and studied the laugauge and then saw zane collapse and almost instantly get up. then after a while he saw zane translate the wall like it was nothing....i then got up and walk over after hearing about the people of the wilight and said.."hey guys me and zane are people of the twilight and so is my brother..horus".............

Zane stops draco where he stands and gives ultima feirce look. "Twilighten are doomed to forever sacrifice their own physical beings to save this universe being a twilighter is not a gift.. it's a curse..magnificent powers given to those who could do anything with it..deciding to tip the balance of good and evil is not a good thing, nor will it ever be, yes it is true that i am a twilighter as is draco, but we areselves are not twilighters are those who have received the power of the gods through a spirit..deep within me and draco lie thousand-year old spirits that awaken when we are in danger."

Ultima had heard of Twilighters before, but never had he met one. He knew a few things about them... including the fact that they were all cosmopolyglots... the spirits residing within them acquire vast knowledge of the world which they can never exist in, including languages.

But Ultima wanted to make connections. The reason everyone was here, the goddess, the twilighters... What could it be? The question would remain to be unanswered for some time to come...
