Weapon History: Much of this weapons history is unknown. Usually it has revealed itself to those that it chooses to wield it, for whatever purpose it may be. Some have been evil, some have been good. Its name Nil-Ir, was given to it by its current wielder, Xante. It means 'A Gift And A Curse' (Read his History to see why

Physical Appearance: Tall, hazel eyes and black hair with red tips. Wears
a red garment with a gold embossed hood. Has a gauntlet in his right hand which he uses for unarmed combat. Also wears a spiked metal boot on his left leg which he also uses in combat. Has a red cape.

Personality: Acts uncaring and emotionless. never shows his true emotions out in the open. Has felt love and kindness for a few people in his life but these emotions confuse him, so he pushes them away.
History: Xante cannot remember where he was born. He was an orphan in Traverse Town. He has never wanted to remember his parents. When people asks, he just replies "Why should I remember those who dumped me here?" He lived in the orphanage until h was 13.
Then on his 13th birthday, he was busy exploring the town when he wondered into a dark street, where he was confronted by 2 hooded men. One was slightly taller than the other.
"Well, Xiggy" the taller one said cheerfully. "What do you think?" The shorter one replied,
" Saix will be pleased. A perfect match to the Keybearer. We should take him now." The two men advanced on him. A pair of fiery chakrams appeared in the hands of the taller man.
But, as he prepared to strike, both men were blown a way in a flash of light and flames.
"Great," said the shorter man." Another one of you Axel."
"What do we do now?"
"The weapon has revealed itself to him. We must get back to warn Saix."
Both men turned and disappeared into black portals, leaving Xante alone with the weapon. He took the weapon back to the orphanage and hid it. From that day on, he would practice out in the fields for hours. He lied to his tutors at the orphanage, telling them that he was just wandering about, or that he was going to explore Traverse Town. He learned slowly, but he still learned much.
Then, suddenly, when he was 17, he was out practicing as usual, when a group of older kids came up to him. The biggest, pushed him to the ground and said,
"Look what we've found boys. Some little kid who thinks he knows how to use a sword." They all laughed.
The kid sneered and picked up Xante's sword. "I think I'll keep this. You don't deserve such a good looking weapon such as this." Then they all turned and left.
Xante then felt anger burning up inside him. He felt anger and hate towards the kids. Suddenly, the weapon, in the hands of the older kid, started to glow. Xantes eyes turned red and he roared like a beast. Then he burst into flames. In his fury, he killed all the boys and took back his sword. Xante couldn't remember what happened during his anger, but the aftermath was worse. After seeing what he had done, Xante grew heavy with regret. He named his sword Nil-Ir, A Gift and a Curse. From the on, whenever he felt deep hatred or anger toward someone or something, the Wrath of Nil-Ir would turn him into a flaming demon, who would kill all in his path to get to the one he hated most. Pictures of his first accident haunted him in his memories and dreams. Images of blackened bodies and burning trees and with him in the center of it all laughing a maniacal laughter came to him every single night. Xante packed his stuff and left the orphanage the very same day and disappeared into the forests near Traverse Town.
It has now been a year since the accident. Xante has now mastered most of his powers and thought himself to control his emotions. He decided to set on a journey to find out his past, parents, those 2 men, and most of all to find out the history of Nil-Ir.
