So how well did Square Enix do in last years race to claim top game sale status? Square Enix's top selling game
was Dragon Quest IV who sold 1,052,827 copies, and is placed at the 9th place in Japan's Top 100. And at 15th place lay Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker who sold 825,065 copies, finally followed by Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII at the18th place who sold 735,939 copies.
Unfortunatly titles such as Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings didnt sell quite so highly with just 524,009 copies, Final Fantasy IV who managed to sell 447,087 copies pretty quick and Final Fantasy CC: Ring of Fates with 389,845 copies. At the 46th place we find one of the most wanted titles in the west, Kingdom Hearts II: Final Mix+, with 337,091 copies this year, which is followed by Square Enix's Final Fantasy Tactics: War of the Lions for the Sony PSP with 301,796 copies. The lowest selling game of the company in 2007 is Final Fantasy Tactics A2: Grimoire of the Rift with 287,871 copies at the 58th place in the list.
So overall, very well done to our favorite company, Square Enix
